Flower Mound High School opened its doors for the first time in August, 1999 as one of the five high schools in the Lewisville Independent School District. We are now a "World Class School Educating Tomorrow's Leaders." It is the shared belief at FMHS that students should take an active role in their education while practicing stewardship and responsibility, which are considered hallmarks of a superior education. The administration, faculty and staff of FMHS are committed to the development of all students into responsive and independent young adults who will demonstrate a high level of preparation for whatever their future holds. Flower Mound High School received Gold Performance Acknowledgments from the Texas Education Agency in 2006-07 for: AP/IB Results; Attendance Rate; College Admissions; Commended on Reading/ELA and Social Studies; Recommended High School Program/DAP; SAT/ACT Results; and Texas Success Initiative for ELA and Mathematics.
