Volunteer Application
Information
School volunteers are a key part of a successful school and the LISD encourages public involvement at all levels of the District. LISD Board Policy requires that every volunteer undergo a background check before being allowed to work on a site.
To verify that you have been included in the Volunteer Data Bank, please contact your child's campus.
Application process can take up to three weeks for results. Please apply ONLY ONCE. Subsequent applications nullify other applications, and the three week process begins anew.
Thank you.

If you have completed a Volunteer Application with LISD (also referred to as a "background check", or a "criminal history check") since 1999, you still qualify to be a volunteer if you are part of the active data bank maintained by the District.
Board Policy:
"The District shall obtain
criminal history record information on persons
the District intends to employ and on persons
who intend to serve as volunteers for district
campuses."All
volunteers at Lewisville ISD campuses must complete
a criminal history background check, online,
at the LISD website.
