Complete only ONE online application in a 12 month period. Subsequent applications will not be given consideration.
Your application will remain active for one year from date of receipt.
Our online application does not allow you to re-access it once you have submitted it to us.

Gallup TeacherInsight is required forTeaching, Librarian and Campus Counseling applicants only. The TI is online and is accessed through our LISD Application Wizard - the Wizard will automatically generate when you begin the online application.
After review of your COMPLETE application, you will be contacted by an HR representative if a screening interview is warranted.

The LISD prioritizes the consideration and screening of fully certified applicants. Other applicants who are participating in a recognized alternative certification program may be considered only after the district has depleted its pool of certified applicants. Alternative certification applicants will be contacted as the need arises.
About your References:
LISD requires a minimum of three complete professional references
LISD will send out reference forms from the information you provide on your online application - accurate contact information is imperitive.
At least one reference should be from someone who served in a supervisory capacity and evaluated you in a classroom setting.
Examples of professional references include the following: principal, asst. principal, mentor teachers, department chairs, and cooperating teachers.

Online application will take approximately 30-45 minutes to complete, and must be completed in one session. You cannot start and stop the application, nor can you re-access the application to make changes or corrections.
