Jackson Early Childhood Center hosts
Trike-A-Thon
The Lillie
J. Jackson Early Childhood Center will
hold a Trike-A-Thon on April 10 from 5:30 -
6:30 p.m. Jackson students will bring their
tricycles to school and ride them through the
hallways to benefit St. Jude Children's
Research Hospital.
If anyone would like to sponsor a student
participating in the Trike-A-Thon, please
contact the Jackson Early Childhood Center at
972-350-4400. Donations can be made according
to laps ridden or a flat donation.
Bluebonnet Elementary to hold blood drive
Bluebonnet
Elementary will host a blood drive on
April 3 from 1 - 7 p.m. in the school's
gymnasium. Walk-ins and donors with
appointments will be welcome until 6:30 p.m.
Donors will receive a free T-shirt and be
eligible to win a $100 gas card. To schedule

Hebron High School Football team, booster
club hosts Lift-A-Thon
The Hebron
High School Football team and booster
club will host a Lift-A-Thon on April 24 at 6
p.m. at the school's football complex,
located at 4207 Plano Parkway in Carrollton.
Proceeds from the Lift-A-Thon will benefit
the football team through the efforts of the

Marcus Orchestra to hold annual plant sale
The Marcus
High School Orchestra will hold its
annual plant sale on the weekends of March 29
- 30, April 5 - 6 and 12 - 13 from 9 a.m. - 4
p.m. at the school.
Plants are sold by the flat for $14 and $17.

LHS Choral Department holds annual
Celebration of Music
The Lewisville
High School
Choral Department will host its annual
Celebration of Music on March 29 from noon to
5 p.m. in the school's east parking lot.
There will be food, live music, karaoke,
games, a dunk tank and more. Proceeds will
benefit the LHS Choral Department.
LISD Special Education Department to hold
monthly Early Education Screenings
The LISD Special Education Department will
hold Early Education screenings on March 27 -
28 from 8 a.m. - 4 p.m. to identify children
living in the district who may have a
disability. Screening times will be assigned
by appointment.
A child who needs to be screened is one who
does not appear to act, see, hear, speak,
understand or learn as others of his/her age.
The tests include vision, hearing, motor,
language and learning tasks. For more
