| Lakeland hosts good-bye ceremony, looks for memorabilia |

Lakeland
Elementary will host a
good-bye ceremony for alumni in May and is
seeking help collecting Lakeland Elementary
memorabilia from years past.
This is the final year for the original
Lakeland Elementary building, as the new
building will open in August on the same
property.
All memorabilia will be returned after the
event. The school is especially interested in
photos, yearbooks and other items from
Lakeland's early years, but all memorabilia
is welcome.

in loaning your memorabilia to Lakeland,

| LISD announces Job Fair Date |

The annual LISD Super Teacher Job Fair will
be April 12 from 8:30 a.m. - 4 p.m. at Flower
Mound High School, 3411 Peters Colony
Blvd. in Flower Mound.
No registration or placement fee required.
Applicants must be registered by the close of
business on April 1 and meet all requirements
by April 12.

| Denton County warns parents of oncoming peak flu season |

The Denton County Health Department is
currently offering flu vaccinations in their
Denton and Lewisville offices to help ward
off the typical February peak of flu season.
Shots are $20 in cash. Medicare, Medicaid and
CHIP are also acceptable forms of payment.
The health department's Denton office is
located at 306 N. Loop 288, Suite 183 and
their Lewisville office is located at 190 N.
Valley Parkway.
