Mound High School
Midnight Madness Board is now selling raffle
tickets to help raise funds for the annual
after-prom party on May 10. All funds raised
will offset the cost of items not
donated to the event.
Midnight Madness offers a safe place for
students to come after prom. The winner of
the drawing will receive two seats in section
113 of the American Airlines Center to a
Dallas Stars game, one night at the W Hotel
in Dallas and dinner for two at N9ne Steak House.
A single ticket is $5 or $20 for five
tickets. The winner does not need to be
present for the drawing on Feb. 4. To

LHS hosts annual Angel Tree

High School is
asking the community to help adopt angels
from their feeder schools to help children
have a brighter Christmas.
The Angel Tree list is available by clicking

and is updated several times a day.
These gifts go directly to the students on
the list. If interested in adopting an angel,

on weekdays.
McKamy holds Smile Walk in honor of
teacher
McKamy
Middle School is holding a 5k Smile Walk
in honor of Old
Settlers Elementary teacher Linda Eason
who is battling breast cancer. The walk will
be held on Dec. 18 from
4:15 - 5:15 p.m. in the Old Settlers parking lot.
The entry fee is one canned food item that
will be donated to the Christian Community
Action food bank. To register, please call

TCHS Symphony Orchestra holds holiday
concert
The
Colony High School Symphony Orchestra
will have its annual holiday concert on Dec.
20 at 7:30 p.m. in the TCHS Performing Arts
Center. Admission is free.
Marcus High School SADD holds coat and
blanket drive
The Marcus
High School chapter of Students Against
Destructive Decisions (SADD) is holding a
coat and blanket drive now until Dec. 19.
Please bring your new or used coat and
blanket to Marcus to help the Dallas homeless.
Marcus hosts recycling event
Marcus
High School will hold its next Curbside
Recycling Day on Feb. 9 from 8 a.m. to noon
in the school's parking lot.
The schools is accepting
old cell phones, cameras, athletic equipment,
game systems, computers, video equipment and
its components and musical equipment to recycle.
Ink jet and toner cartridges, calculators,
PDAs, iPods and GPS devices may be dropped
off in the front office anytime school is open.
