FMHS Rosettes hold Holiday Parents Night

Mound High School
Rosettes and Rosettes Booster Club will host
a Holiday Parents Night Out on Dec. 15 from 6
- 10 p.m. in the school's large and small
gymnasiums and dance room.
Parents may drop off their children who are
in kindergarten through fifth-grade for $20 per
child. Children will be able to play games,
make crafts and eat snacks. Registration is
requested by Dec. 12, but registration forms
will also be accepted at the door. For a

Lakeland
Elementary is looking
for volunteers who would like to read to
kindergarten and first-grade students in
their annual Fireside Reading Day on Dec. 14
from 8:30 a.m. - 2:30 p.m. at Lillie
J. Jackson Early Childhood
Center.

times available. All readers can read a
favorite book or select one from the school's
library.

Madrigal Dinners

independent Madrigal Dinners on Dec. 14 - 15.
Tickets to the Marcus Madrigal Dinner are

for the Dec. 15 performance at 1 p.m. where
only dessert will be served. Tickets may be
purchased at Boston Market, 1570 W. Main
St. in Lewisville or by sending a check made
out to the FMHS Choir to the school.
LISD Special Education holds monthly Early
Education screenings
The LISD
Special Education Department will hold
Early Education screenings on Nov. 29 - 30
from 8 a.m. - 4 p.m. to identify children
residing in the district who may have a
disability. Screening times will be assigned
