The next LISD Board of Trustees meeting is
tonight, Nov. 12, at 7 p.m. at the Bolin
Administrative Center, 1565 W. Main St. in
Lewisville.

| LISD reaches goal in community-wide service campaign |

As you may know, LISD recently embarked on
its first community-wide service campaign
benefiting PediPlace, a local non-profit
children's healthcare center providing
medical assistance at no charge or at a
reduced cost to families.
As of Nov. 2, the district raised $52,000 and
expects to have approximately $55,000 when
the tallying is complete. The district's goal
was to raise $50,000 - symbolizing $1 per
student enrolled in LISD.
Each and every person's efforts to help LISD
reach this goal is greatly appreciated and
will also be greatly appreciated by the
families who depend on PediPlace for
much-needed healthcare.

LHS to hold annual craft fair this
Saturday
The Lewisville
High School Baseball Booster Club will
hold its annual craft fair on Nov. 17 from 9
a.m. - 4 p.m. in the school's cafeteria and
commons area.
Greater Lewisville Special Education PTSA
looks for new members, to hold meeting
The Greater Lewisville Special Education PTSA
is hosting a program on guardianship tonight,
Nov. 12 from 6 - 9 p.m. at the LISD Special
Services Building, 400 W. Main St. in
Lewisville.
Social time with refreshments begins at 6
p.m., followed by a brief business meeting of
the Special Ed PTSA at 6:30 p.m. The program
will begin promptly at 7 p.m. Details
