Hebron Band hosts golf tournament
The Hebron
High School Band
will host its first golf tournament at
Indian Creek Golf Course in Carrollton on
Nov. 11 at noon. Funds raised from this event
will help defray costs for the band to attend
state and area competitions as well as
help keep their instruments up to date.

Registration is $85 and includes prizes,
individual hole games and gift bags. For more

FMHS Orchestra to hold garage sale

Mound High School Orchestra and Orchestra
Booster Club will hold a garage sale in the
school's teachers' parking lot on Oct. 27
starting at 8 a.m.
All proceeds will go toward funding the
organization's trip to Chicago to perform at
the annual Midwest Clinic, an international
band and orchestra conference in December.
The FMHS Orchestra will be the only
high school orchestra from Texas performing
at Midwest.

Friday Night Live coming to Forestwood MS
LISD has partnered with Friday Night Live and
Communities for Kidz to host a night of
supervised activities for all children in
grades 3 - 9 on Nov. 9 and 16 from 7 - 11
p.m at Forestwood
Middle School.
Friday Night Live is a fun-filled program
designed for kids in a safe environment.
Football night will be the Nov. 9 theme. All
kids wearing their favorite team jersey will
be eligible to win a prize. On Nov. 16, there
will be a treasure hunt, Fear Factor -
style contest and an obstacle course.
All Friday Night Live events have a live DJ,
a light show, dance contests and gym
activities. The cost for a child to attend
