Marcus Orchestra to hold annual plant sale
The Marcus
High School
Orchestra Booster Club will hold its annual
plant sale Oct. 13 - 14, 20 - 21 and 27 - 28 from
8 a.m. - 4 p.m. at the school. The group will
also be taking orders for pecans during the
plant sale.
All proceeds will be used towards the
orchestra's trip to Boston to
participate in the Boston Heritage Festival
next spring.
TCHS Cheerleaders co-host Cheer Mania
The
Colony High School
Cheerleaders are teaming up with the
cheerleaders from The Colony Youth Football
Association to host the 2007 Cheer Mania
Competition from noon to 6 p.m. on Nov. 4.
Youth squads that cheer for an athletic team
through a park and recreation league or an LISD
middle school are welcome to participate. All
participants must be between 5 -
13 years of age.

LHS Baseball Booster Club sponsors fall
craft show
The Lewisville
High School
Baseball Booster Club is seeking vendors for
its annual fall craft show to be held on Nov.
17 from 9 a.m. - 4 p.m.
The craft show will take place in the cafeteria
and commons area of the school. Booth spaces
are available for $65 each. If interested,

Marcus High School Theatre to present
Pride and Prejudice
The Marcus
High School Theatre
Department will perform Jane Austen's
Pride and Prejudice Oct. 11 - 12 at
7:30 p.m., Oct. 13 at 2 p.m. and 7:30 p.m.
and on Oct. 14 at 2 p.m.
Tickets are $12 for
adults ($10 in advance) and $8 for students
and seniors ($5 in advance).
