NorTex College Fair scheduled for tomorrow

The annual NorTex College Fair will be held from 6:30 - 8:30 p.m. Sept. 18 at the University of North Texas Coliseum in Denton. The fair is open to all LISD junior and senior high school students. More than 250 colleges and universities from Texas and around the country will have representatives there to provide admissions, financial aid and other information. LISD Special Olympics holds golf tournament

The 13th annual Golf Classic benefitting LISD Special Olympics will take place at 1 p.m. on Sept. 24 at the Indian Creek Golf Club, 1650 Frankford Rd. in Carrollton. Click here for more information.

Destination ImagiNation to hold annual meeting LISD Destination ImagiNation (DI) will host its annual DI Awareness Night from 7 - 8:30 p.m. on Sept. 24 at Lamar Middle School. LHS Farmerettes to host mini-clinic The Lewisville High School Farmerettes will host a mini-clinic for girls in kindergarten through eighth-grade on Sept. 22. Registration is $25 and includes a camp T-shirt, snack and drink. All participants will be invited to march in the annual LHS homecoming parade on Oct. 25.
