TCHS to host community pep rally
The
Colony High School will
host a community pep rally on Sept. 12 at
6:30 p.m. at the school's Tommy Briggs/
Cougar Stadium.
During the event, all TCHS feeder schools
will be recognized. Community and school
officials will speak and the band, dance team
and cheerleaders will perform.
FMHS Football hosts Elementary School
Night
The Flower
Mound High School
Football Team will host an Elementary School
Night on Sept. 14 at 7 p.m. at the school's
Neal Wilson Jaguar Stadium.
The first 1,000 elementary students to wear
their school's spirit shirt and come to the
concession stand will get a hot dog and drink
for $1. Mini-footballs will also be given to
the first 500 elementary students at the gate.
Hebron Band to hold annual March-a-thon,
5K run/walk
The Hebron
High School Band will hold its annual
March-a-thon on Sept. 15 at 10 a.m. starting
at Castle
Hills Elementary and will end at the
Village Shops in Castle Hills, 2560 King
Arthur Blvd.
Prior to the March-a-thon, the band will host
a timed 5K run/walk starting at 8 a.m. at the
Village Shops. To register, visit www.active.com

Money raised at the event will help defray
costs for the band to attend state and area
competitions as well as keeping instruments
up to date.
TCHS Cheerleaders sponsor golf tournament
The
Colony High School Cheerleaders will host
their second annual golf tournament on Sept.
16 at the Plantation Golf Club in Frisco.
Check-in time is at 11 a.m. and tee time will
be at 1 p.m. Lunch will be served during
registration time. To play, golfers must pay
$100 per person or $400 per team.
Registration includes lunch, dinner, golf
fees, cart use and a goodie bag. For more
