LISD receives another 'superior' financial rating

LISD received a rating of "Superior Achievement" under Texas' Schools FIRST financial accountability rating system. This is the fifth consecutive year that LISD has received this rating. The Superior Achievement rating is the state's highest, demonstrating the quality of LISD's financial management and reporting system. To read more about this outstanding accomplishment, click here.

TCHS Cheerleaders hosting Pee Wee Clinic The Colony High School Cheerleaders are inviting children ages 4 - 13 to learn cheers, chants, dances, jumps, basic tumbling and basic stunting on Sept. 22. LHS Band to host a Play-A-Thon The Lewisville High School Band will hold its annual Play-A-Thon on Sept. 8. The band will play at the Kroger at the intersection of Gerault and Flower Mound Roads at 8 a.m., the Albertson's on Main Street at 9 a.m., the Lowe's on Valley Ridge at 10 a.m., the Kroger on F.M. 407 at 11 a.m. and the Lowe's on F.M. 407 at noon. Proceeds donated to the band during the Play-A-Thon will go toward the band's trip to Bands of America in San Antonio in November.
