Forestwood accepting scholarship applications
Forestwood
Middle School is now accepting scholarship
applications for its annual PTA Scholarship.
Applicants must have attended Forestwood Middle
School, have a current family or student
membership in PTA or PTSA and must enroll in a
two or four-year college or university for the
fall of 2007.
All applications will be number-coded for blind
review.

LHS Theatre Boosters to meet
The Lewisville
High School Theatre Booster Club will meet
Jan. 30 at 7 p.m. in Room 1610.
April Board of Trustees meeting moved
The April meeting of the LISD Board of Trustees
has been moved from April 16 to April 23.
FMHS to hold annual Jaguar Auction
Flower
Mound High School is
inviting the community to attend its annual
Jaguar Auction on Feb. 23 at 6:30 p.m.
Tickets are $5 and include a packet of 12 raffle
tickets. Attendees can place any number of
tickets in the collection bags that are designated
for their favorite prizes. Additional 12-ticket
envelopes will be available for $3 each.
At 7 p.m. the prizes will be awarded to the
lucky ticket holders.

LHS Theatre presents Fools
Lewisville
High School's Theatre Department will
present Neil Simon's Fools Feb. 8 - 10 at
8 p.m. and on Feb. 11 at 2 p.m.
All performances will be held at Stuver
Auditorium in the high school.
TCHS to hold Open House
The
Colony High School will have an Open House on
Feb. 15 from 6:30 - 8:30 p.m.
The event will start in the auditorium where
parents can learn about the school's report
card. After that, parents can meet their
student's spring semester teachers.
LHS Band to host Dessert Theatre
The Lewisville
High School Band will host a Dessert Theatre
on Feb. 10 at 6 p.m. in the school's cafeteria.
The event will feature the school's concert
bands. Tickets are $5 at the door, with no
advance sales.
CECPTA schedules February meeting
All parents of young children are invited to
attend the Carrollton Early Childhood PTA
meeting on Feb. 9 from 9:30 a.m. - 11:30 a.m. at
Holy Covenant Church in Carrollton.
February's meeting will feature Paula Tarver of
Early Childhood Intervention who will discuss child
development and the identification of possible
developmental delays in
small children.
Children in the nursery during the meeting will
be treated to a dental health presentation from
a dental hygienist.
