    CISNT in need of mentors
    .
Communities In Schools of North Texas has identified numerous students in LISD who are in immediate need of a school-based mentor.

CISNT mentors spend 30-60 minutes a week with their student in face-to-face visits at the student's school. These mentors assist their students with academic help; and they spend time getting to know students to provide a safe and healthy supportive relationship. CISNT mentors are crucial to their students' success.

In addition to mentoring a student at school during the school day or in after-school programs, CISNT Mentors can meet with their student during the CISNT Saturday Connections program.

Individuals who are interested in volunteering to serve as a CISNT Mentor should contact CISNT at 972-436-6377 or visit the CISNT website, www.cisnt.org, to complete a volunteer application online.
