U.B.U. Lounge
The U.B.U. Lounge is a research-based brand designed to reflect
the habits, choices and nutritional requirements of today's teens.
The new brand features healthy new menu items as well as invigorating
lunchroom environments that include brightly painted walls, fun
food packaging, new lighting and music, updated merchandising materials
and casual uniforms worn by the food service team.
The district's very first U.B.U. Lounge opened at The Colony High
School on January 6, 2005. LHS - North was the second campus to
open on August 11, 2005, and in August of 2006, Marcus High School
started the school year with a new U.B.U. Lounge.

12 Spot Main Course Menu

The 12 Spot is a new dining solution created for tweens (grades
6-8) in an effort to connect with our middle school students. The
new colors, lighting, communication and menu items of the 12 Spot
are based on research collected from middle school students across
the country.
As we approach the lunch hour, the 12 Spot is a place where students
can hang out with their friends in an environment which reflects
their life style throughout the year. Sports, music and seasonal
activities are integrated into images creating a trendy atmosphere.
The 12 Spot was introduced at Briarhill Middle School on March
29, 2005, as a pilot campus. Arbor Creek Middle School and Shadow
Ridge Middle School also welcomed the 12 Spot, on August 11, 2005.
Lakeview Middle School is the latest to open as a 12 Spot campus
in August 2006.
