One World Café
The
One World Café is an award winning
branding concept created by ARAMARK Education to establish a flexible,
comprehensive program for students of all
ages.
The goal is to increase menu variety and customer
participation and to create an affordable
child-friendly café environment for
our campus cafeterias. |
The
One World Café name signifies diverse
students with diverse appetites coming together
to eat and recharge. The One World
Café solution includes:
- Fresh food,
prepared daily with creative recipes
that satisfy students’ preferences
- Attractive,
fun, and functional merchandising and
packaging
- Simple yet visually
appealing signage with graphics in vibrant
colors and patterns
- Promotional
programs for LISD students of all ages
to generate excitement and introduce
new food items.

Spike
Spike
is our Stay Healthy mascot! Spike is 8 years
old and enjoys playing soccer, basketball
and many other active sports, but most importantly
he understands the importance of good nutrition.
Spike loves outdoor activites, so this year
each Spike promotion will focus on his love
for hiking, camping, fishing, exploring and
canoeing. Most importantly, Spike reminds
us to eat healthy and exercise. |
You will see Spike's face
next to menu items that are his favorite healthy
selections, such as the Spike-able. You will
also see Spike's footprint next to items that
are meatless entrees. So look for Spike to help
you make healthy selections everyday in The
One World Cafe.
Breakfast
with Spike
Each month, Spike sponsors a breakfast promotion to remind our Elementary
students about the importance of eating breakfast. On the day of
the Breakfast with Spike celebration, students who purchase breakfast
in The One World Café receive a Spike toy.
